One language, one target!
Shrimp farmers in Bangladesh want to produce their products in good quality in order to achieve a fair price and maintain long-term business relation. The processor knows that he has to deliver good quality products as he endangers the business. The trade must minimize his risk and fulfil consumers’ requirements. The NGO bridges the gap between the different supply chain participants. Identify weak points, network the right partners to close the supply chain, train the people in the field through local experts, communicate the criteria and monitor the corrective action to get the traceability needed about the process. In the context of this specific development mandate the development bank is convinced to provide support.
